Dragon Heart Tang Soo Do is a member school of the World Tang Soo Do Association. Owner and Chief Instructor, Master Becky Rupp, is a 4th degree Black Belt. She is a certified instructor and started Dragon Heart in 1998. Since then many members and some entire families have trained and achieved their Black Belts. Grandmaster Jae C. Shin of the WTSDA believes Tang Soo Do is for everyone. Therefore the certified teachers at Dragon Heart make sure everyone can train with whatever abilities they have!!
We are very honored and proud to be the home of 3 WTSDA Hall of Fame winners. This is a prestigious and rare award given to a select few. Becky Rupp was awarded Instructor of the Year in 2006 ~ Shyla Sickels was awarded Student of the Year in 2006 ~ Doug Smith was awarded the very first ever Community Service Award in 2008.

This is a Korean Karate. While you are learning our techniques for self-defense, you will also be increasing flexibility, strength, memory, and coordination. Our system includes cardiovascular aerobic exercise for the heart and lungs which help you lose weight. Don't worry about your age, or present physical condition. We all start with what we can do. Our program improves patience, respect, mental clarity, concentration, self-discipline, control, and confidence, and gives everyone a strong healthy body with good coordination.
The WTSDA, founded by Grandmaster Jae C. Shin in 1982, is a world renowned organization.
It currently has studios in more than twenty countries and an enrollment of over 100,000 students.
Grandmaster Shin started his training in Korea at the age of 12 and became one of the world's most respected and renowned martial artists. The year he came to the U.S., Black Belt Magazine honored him by devoting a full chapter to him in the book "20th Century Warriors," putting him in the company of the most legendary martial arts figures ever!
